海南大学奖学金类国际学生承诺书

本人承诺已知悉并遵守以下事项:

1. 银行卡办理:

(1)获得奖学金(中国政府奖学金、国际中文教师奖学金、海南省政府国际学生奖学金、海南省华文教育奖学金)的新生在报到注册前须持本人护照、录取通知书到中国的银行开卡。

(2)将银行卡回执单复印件交至国际教育学院国际学生办公室103。

(3)如果银行卡因各种原因停止使用,本人必须第一时间将开卡的银行卡回执单复印件于规定的签到时间内递交至国际学生办公室,否则当月生活费和住宿补贴无法发放。

2.生活费发放:生活费一般于每月月底发放,特殊情况除外。

(1)新生当月15号前报到注册,发放整月生活费;15号后报到,发放半个月的生活费。

(2)每月前5个工作日来国际学生办公室103签到,未按时来签到者,当月生活费和住宿补贴停发且不补发。

(3)奖学金生应当严格遵守学校的规定。

   在学校规定的假期内离境的,生活费正常发放;

   在学校规定的假期外,因个人原因当月累计请假超过15天或连续请假超过15天的,扣发一个月生活费;

   经学校批准参加教学培养计划之外的学术活动离境不超过15天的,生活费待学生返校后补发;离境超出15天时间的,停发生活费。

(4)奖学金生毕业的,在学校确定的毕业日期后继续发放半个月生活费。休学、退学、肄业及被中止或取消奖学金资格的,其生活费自批准之日起停发。

3. 住宿补贴:

(1)新生可直接在入学报到时申请校外住宿,校外住宿补贴与生活费发放规则、发放时间一致。

(2)校外住宿必须向所在书院申请并获得同意,每年只能在6月份和12月份上半月完成申请并提交资料。当月申请并在当月搬离者,住宿补贴自下月起按月发放,其他时间申请不予发放补贴。

4.休学:

凡休学者,学生本人填写国际学生休学申请表,获得批准后将书面申请及相关证明材料提交至国际教育学院,国际教育学院上报各类奖学金管理部门审批,根据反馈的处理意见决定是否保留奖学金资格。

5.消息通知:

国际教育学院指定的微信群与学生预留的电子邮箱为奖学金生有效官方通知渠道,学生须主动加入微信群并及时接收阅读相关信息,查看个人邮箱。

6.其他未尽事宜将按照相关规定执行,如发生变动,本人将依最新的规定执行,并不会有异议。

Letter of Commitment for International Scholarship Students of Hainan University


I hereby declare that I have fully understood and will abide by the following terms:

1. Bank Card Application

(1) Newly admitted scholarship recipients (including the Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship, Hainan Provincial Government International Student Scholarship, and Hainan Provincial Chinese Language Education Scholarship) shall open a bank account with their passport and admission notice at a Chinese bank prior to registration and enrollment.

(2) A copy of the bank card receipt must be submitted to Room 103,Office of International Student Affairs,School of International Education.

(3) If the bank card becomes inactive for any reason, I must submit a new copy of the bank card receipt to the Office of International Student Affairs within the designated check-in period. Failure to do so will result in the suspension of monthly living allowance and accommodation subsidy.

2. Living Allowance Payment

The living allowance is generally issued at the end of each month, except under special circumstances.

(1) New students who register before the 15th day of the month will receive the full monthly living allowance; those who register after the 15th day will receive half a month’s allowance.

(2) Scholarship students must check in at Room 103,Office of International Student Affairs, within the first 5 working days of each month. Those who fail to check in on time will not receive the living allowance and accommodation subsidy for that month, and no retroactive payment will be made.

(3) Scholarship students must strictly abide by university regulations.

· Living allowance will be provided as usual for those who leave China during official university holidays.

· For personal reasons outside official holidays, if the total leave exceeds 15 days or consecutive leave exceeds 15 days in a month, the living allowance for that month will be deducted.

· For approved academic activities outside the official training program, if the overseas stay is no more than 15 days, the living allowance will be retroactively issued upon return; if exceeding 15 days, the living allowance will be suspended.

 (4) Graduating students will receive half a month’s living allowance after the official graduation date confirmed by the university.For students on academic suspension, dropping out, discontinuing studies, or whose scholarship is suspended or revoked, the living allowance will be stopped from the date of approval.

3. Accommodation Subsidy

(1) New students may apply for off-campus accommodation upon registration. The off-campus accommodation subsidy follows the same rules and schedule as the living allowance.(2) Off-campus accommodation requires application and approval from the affiliated residential college. Applications and supporting documents may only be submitted in the first half of June and December each year.The accommodation subsidy will be provided monthly starting from the month following approval and relocation. Applications submitted at other times will not be eligible for the subsidy.

4. Academic Suspension

Students applying for academic suspension must complete the Application Form for International Student Academic Suspension. After obtaining approval, the written application and relevant supporting documents must be submitted to the School of International Education.The School will report to the relevant scholarship authorities for review. The retention of scholarship eligibility will be determined according to the official review result.

5. Official Notifications

The designated WeChat group of the School of International Education and the student’s registered email address are the official channels for scholarship-related notices.Students must join the WeChat group, check emails regularly, and read all official information in a timely manner.

6. Supplementary Provisions

Other matters not specified herein shall be implemented in accordance with relevant regulations. In case of any policy updates, I will comply with the latest provisions without objection.
