Background Information

为吸引世界各国优秀青年来华参加短期学习交流活动，深化中外青年学术友谊和交流互鉴，海南大学国际合作交流处联合国际商学院组织实施“2025留学中国·海南大学国际暑期学校”项目（下文简称“国际暑校”项目）。该项目将于2025年6月28日-7月20日举办，通过课堂授课、实践调研、实地考察等多种形式开展国际学生暑期交流活动。

In order to attract excellent young talents from around the world to attend short-term study and exchange programs in China, and to deepen academic friendship and mutual learning between Chinese and international youth, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of HNU, in collaboration with the International Business School, will organize the "2025 Study in China - International Summer School of Hainan University" program (hereinafter referred to as the "International Summer School"). Scheduled to take place from June 28^th to July 20^th, 2025, the program will conduct summer exchange activities for international students through various forms including classroom lectures, practical research and field investigations.

在2024年顺利举办“国际暑校”项目的基础上，海南大学国际商学院今年再次获批举办，学院将继续为国际学生提供一个深入了解中国式现代化，广泛接触中国文化、教育以及商业实践的宝贵机会。同时，项目也将进一步促进中外学生的交流与理解，拓宽其国际视野。通过该项目，我们期望能够培养出更多具有国际视野和跨文化沟通能力的人才，深入推动中外教育合作与人文交流。

Based on the successful launch of the "International Summer School" program in 2024, the International Business School of HNU has once again received approval to host the program this year. The school will continue to provide international students with a valuable opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese-style modernization, extensively engage with Chinese culture, education, and business practices. Meanwhile, the program aims to further facilitate exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and international students and broaden their global perspectives. Through this initiative, we aspire to cultivate a greater number of talents equipped with international vision and cross-cultural communication skills, thereby advancing educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries.

Details

1. 学术交流：促进国内学生与国际学生之间的学术交流，拓宽其国际视野。 Academic Exchange:  Facilitating scholarly interactions between domestic students and international students to broaden their global perspectives.

2.  文化体验：通过与不同国家院校的合作，让学生体验多元文化，增进对不同经济学体系的理解。 Cultural Immersion:  Enabling participants to engage with multicultural contexts through strategic partnerships with global institutions, thereby deepening comprehension of diverse economic paradigms.

3. 专业提升：通过专题讲座、研讨会和案例分析，提高学生在经济学领域的专业知识和实践能力。 Professional Development:  Strengthening participants' theoretical foundations and applied competencies in economics via thematic lectures, research seminars and case analyses.

4. 网络构建：建立国际校友网络，为学生未来职业发展提供支持。 Global Networking:  Establishing an international alumni platform to support participants' long-term career advancement.

1. 多元合作：与境外院校合作，集合各方教育资源和优势。 Multilateral Collaboration:  Establishing partnerships with overseas institutions to pool educational resources and leverage complementary strengths from all institutions participated.

2. 专题课程：开设针对性中国式现代化的经济学分析课程，结合国际经验与中国实践。 Thematic Curriculum:  Developing targeted courses on the economic analysis of Chinese-style modernization, synthesizing global practices with China's developmental context.

3. 实践导向：强调理论与实践相结合，通过案例研究、实地考察等方式，增强学生的实际操作能力。 Practice Orientation:  Integrating theoretical frameworks with practical training through case simulations, field research, and industry immersion programs to cultivate students' operational competencies.

4. 文化融合：通过国际学生的互动交流，促进不同文化背景下的经济学理念融合。 Cultural Integration: Facilitating intellectual convergence across economic paradigms through interactions among international students.

须为境外高校本科和研究生阶段的非中国籍学生，合计25人。

The program is restricted to 25 non-Chineses participants who are currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at overseas universities.

1.原则上，抵离海口市所有交通费用由参与项目学生自行承担。学生在海南大学参加项目产生的相关食宿、保险费、交通费由主办方承担。建议入境和离境经由海口美兰国际机场。

In principle, all transportation expenses to and from Haikou shall be self-funded by participants. Accommodation, meals, insurance premiums and local transportation costs incurred through program participation in Hainan University will be covered by the organizers. Participants are recommended to route their entry and exit via Haikou Meilan International Airport.
